what models come w/ a tachometer?

what models come w/ a tachometer?
i'm looking for an ek hatch or coupe. all the ones i've looked at have no tachometer. am i going to have to buy one of those giant ones with a shift light, or could i buy a cluster from an si? how hard is it to install a tach?

i dunno if hte HX comes with one but Defintly the EX adn the SI... You can search and pay more for Spoon, or CTR or even the RS.... But those come with tachs

The HX, LX, EX, and Si all have tachometers. The cluster you use should depend on what engine you have if you care to have the correct redline.

NO sir they don't. I have a 97 dx hatch and my friend has an 00 dx hatch. Neither of which have tachs (well mine does now, but it's from an EX.)

consider yourself a lucky one....
on all dx models a tachometer is not standard, regardless of the car being an auto or manual....
i had to upgrade

is not hard at all... all you need is maybe $150 to buy an si cluster... and a phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the cluster in and then you unplug all the wiring... then put the other cluster in its place... direct swap among eks
