Default what clutch do you guys use

Just curious because I just installed a clutch (oem) in my 90 accord, now that I added the basic boltons I/E/H when I launch the clutch is slipping like mad. I can feel the clutch trying to find grip but its a lost cause. What do you guys think about exeedy clutches. Thanks for the info guys/gals

Did you aloow the proper break in period for the clutch?

The Exedy is a good stock replacment but cant handle all that much power(now this is on B series mtors so it could be a world of difference). I have an ACT HDSS with Streetlgiht flywheel and it grabs like mad.

ACT HDSS LIGHTENED FLYWHEEL. Did you break-in your clutch before you started launching hard? proper break-in is verry important or else you'll just throw away your money

theres no point to an "aftermarket" clutch w/ just bolt ons.......either the install was wrong, it was a 'lemon' clutch, or u didnt brake it in properly.....as wonderful as bolt on are to us poor people, its not like its neccesary unless ur running higher power

ACT clutches are very good. Get the stage one with just basic bolt ons. You probably didn't break it in properly and that's why it is slipping. I say get an aftermarket clutch and break it in properly. Go 500- 700 miles of babying it. Then gradually move into harder driving. Why are you launching hard on a stock Accord? Is it a "RACE CAR"?

my very serious performance shop boys and all their buddy's down in Penn state are sponsored ans SWEAR by any clutch that ACT makes.. and will only use their clutches (not because of sponsorship) because of overall quality and basically trial and error in the beginning.. i do not personally own one (YET) but ive seen some serious WHP cars rocket of the line and only use ACT clutches

ahha u think i would make a good ACT spokesperson.. lol
