Default Clutch for type S

I'm looking to buy a new clutch for my 02 type S. Want something that will hold better than stock but still be able to drive daily. Also have some urethane motor mounts and think I will install them as well. Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks.

Probaly any stage 2 clutch would work for what you want.

yeah, i was looking at the clutchmaster series as well. I just found out that I may be able to get a new stock clutch under warranty however, and that price cant be beat. But in response to iFactor's post, how much would you be talking for that stage 2 and 3?

Stage 3 is probably like $500. Stage 2 isn't worth it, its almost like stock.

I have a Clutchmasters stage III. It's def. streetable, no chatter, but it does engage VERY low to the floor. I'll see how it holds once the turbo goes on...

Yes, you need to adjust it. I have CM's stage 3 also and I had to adjust mine.
