Default new exhaust, no o2 sensor!

k guys i jus installed my dc jdm header, carsound cat , and apex'i WS II. i decided to leave the secondary o2 out for the time being. i was just wodnering if there will be any ill effects as far as gas mileage, performance etc.... odly though when i had my primary o2 disconnected before it always threw a code, but w/ the secondary o2 gone it does not....

oh yeh the world sport is extremly quiet, and little to quiet in top end.

You have to keep the secondary pluged in so you don't throw a code. As well you need to grond it because it woun't create a circuit, other than that it works. Gas milage sucks thow. I did this on my EK with the Y7 engine.

Check to see if you still have a bulb. You can leave the 02 sensor connected but not in the catalytic converter and it won't throw a code right away. I think I could leave mine that way for close to 3 days of driving before it would finally throw a CEL. With that said, it WILL throw a CEL.

ok the light it working b/c it been on before, actually what happend was i couldnt get the secondary o2 sensor off the stock cat, due to the akward postion, so i cut the wires and dropped the exhaust so now i can get better leverage at gettin the o2 out, then ill just have to splice the wire and wire it back up to the new cat
