jdm rear bumper question
well i couple months ago i ask if a front end conversion on a 88 civic std would make it lighter or heavier, and you guys told me it would make it lighter because in US re have rebars and in japan they have bumper supports which are about 20 pounds lighter well i just want to know is the jdm rear bumber lighter ther same or heavier?

It's much lighter, here is the back of one. You can see how small the rear support is, it's only a few pounds while the USDM support is atleast 25lbs.
heres an EF7 rear bumper for sale... if your car is an 88 then the side moulding will match the moulding on the bumper...

Nothing else in the SiR is lighter besides the front and rear bumpers and thats only because they dont have bumper supports. and I just answered your other question above. If you have any more just do a search. Pics can easily be found this way.
