b20/vtec question

Default b20/vtec question

i was wondering if i took a a b20/vtec and put in gs-r crank and rods, would this further the ability of the car reving? i mean could it rev like a gs-r can?

yes, but you will be loosing compression- essentially you are de-stroking the motor. I would suggest 12.5:1 compression pistons on the combo you are talking about. This would yeild a lower compression like 11.6:1, and would be rev safe.
