Default mugen ITR pedals

Explain to me why Mugen pedals are so sought after. By the look of them, they won't even aid in Heel-Toe because they don't have the extra extension bit on the left of the pedal to decrease the gap between the brake and gas pedals. To top it off, they are expensive as hell. Thanks.

It's because the gas and clutch pedals are "grippy"

You can drive with Leather Soled Dress shoes and still have the "Tennis Shoe" feel.

they are made out of a magnesium and aluminum combination. The mag is the grippy part and the aluminum the trim. I have them and love them. They do help with heel toe. Yes there are better ones for racing, but for street... The Mugen ones are great.

Ahh yes, they do have to extension thing. And now that I've seen a proper set (must've seen fakes), I can see why they'd be worth some extra dough. I guess I'll keep my eyes peeled for that group buy after all. Thanks all.
