Default GSR Crank and rods/pistons in a LS block, Will it work?

Will a gsr crank and rods fit into an LS block, and if so, is their any benefit to it? Reason im asking is cuz i have a ls/vtec with 11.5:1 compression, But i just bought a turbokit and want to redo the bottem end. But i have a spare jdm gsr bottom end (cracked sleeve)with crank, eagle rods and arias 9:1 pistons. And was thinking of just stuffing all that into the LS. Thanx for any input. -pJ

you will also need gsr oil pan/tray and oil pickup if you want to use the gsr stock block girdle also make sure you transfer over your gsr oil pump to your ls block, as it flows a lot higher.

As the GSR girdle does not fit without alot of work, and makes your GSR block worthless, I would not use it. Alwaways buy a new Gs R, "R" oil pump on a rebuild. The reason for doing it is the rods are alot stronger vs the LS, you will lose a little displacement but gain some reliabilty, install new ARP rod Bolts.
