Opinions on this wheel?
What do you guys think? Look good/bad?
The 16 x 6.5 weighs 14.5 LBS and there is a GroupBuy going on. $860 for a set of four rims, Ecsta tires, mounted, balanced, and Gorilla wheel locks.

Enkei RP01
Does the fact that they are 6.5" wide make a big differance in handing over a 7" wide rim?

Those wheels are pretty cool. A buddy of mine has them on his Turbo Miata. But like the previous post, I think a set of Rota's would be a little better for the price. But either one works.
The 16" Rotas are a little bit heavier I believe..is that correct?
Im waiting for the 16" Subzeros to be released..and I think they are 15 LBS...but Ive heard the Circuit 8s are 16 LBS.

they are nice , but for the price i would go with rotas
For the set of 4 flat black Rotas with tires, I paid just $800 shipped. You're also talking about a cumulative weight difference of about 8-10 lbs in favor of the Rotas
Im looking at getting 16" rims...so the weight would be in favor of the Enkei's I believe. From what Ive heard...16" Rotas weighs 16 LBS each?

Forgot to say... I would only get Kumho's if it's for daily driving. If you do autoX, get something else (i.e. Falken Azenis or RE730). And, 16x7 is a better especially you'll be putting in 205-series tires.

Yes but that is for the 15" Rota's correct?

i'm not 100% sure of this, but a shop told me once that the reason the enkei rp01 is cheaper these days is because they are not making it in japan, but somewhere else? i'm not sure if the quality would be up to par.
but from looking at the spokes, it might be a good wheel for those with brake clearance problems?

Rota, Rota, Rota...Cheap, not so light, ugly (don't get me wrong I'd rockem), NOT SPOONS
The Subzeros are more like the CP-035s

check the pricing on tires.com (aka discount tires), i think their regular price is as good, if not better than this GB price.
14.5 lbs is VERY light for 16's. some people posted in this thread are confused.
btw 6.5" width vs. 7". i just got some 15x7 CPF's. the difference (when driving) isn't obvious. they are light tho. 27 lbs with 60% worn 195/50/15 bridgestone V grids.

The regular price at Tires.com is $144 per wheel...which is $9 more per wheel...then some 205/40-16 Kuhmo's would be $321...but that doesnt include mount and balance..or the wheel locks.
Frank @ b16.com: Do you know for sure what 16" Subzero's weigh?

its all bout TE37's i want them soooooooo bad and they look awesome on R's and dubs alike. this dude out here has bronze TE37's on his yellow JDM front conversion R and it looks sweet

these Enkei RPO-1s are the exact wheels that i use. they are more old school, classic if you will, than the rota subzeros... these are no longer the cool/in/hot wheels, but they look good and next year these will still look good while the rota subzero's will be everywhere... these are original, clean, and look OEM. if you check out Gran Turismo 2 and 3, these wheels are in there... i can post a pic of them on my car if you want...
