I've got an exhaust noise ...
As many know by now my present 97 ITR still has the stock exhaust, but I've got this little buzz or rattle at about 3200-3500 rpm when cruising down the road, and as the motor traverses that engine speed.
Figured it was just a heat shield, but look what I found!

The mythical muffler bearing was loose.
I just have to flush and change out the blinker fluid before the the expo!

Looks like the noise may have been your exhaust finally rusting itself off of the car.

I can get you the OEM muffler bearings if you need them. They come in sets of two. Retail is $195.99, but I can get you the hook-up discount
What kind of blinker fluid you using?...i heard redline 90-160W was good and allows a steady rythmic blink with no static interference from non static antislitation sources!!!
Wow, looks like you spun a muffler bearing! You know what they say...Lube it, or loose it!
While you're tooling with the exhaust parts, I would recomend bleeding your rear differential just in case...
Hey, just a quick question though...
A friend of mine said I shouldn't use regular Halogen fluid anymore. He said if I use the OS Giken HID fluid that my headlights will flash during v-tech. Is that true?

I believe so.. it blinks faster as the vtak revs up.
I got some JDm fluid if you wanna purchase some, you know how rare it is.

Yeah, I went in for a whole new muffler and they told me I could just use some high-temp lube with a new bearing next time! Imagine that.

I heard the Spoon N1 uses an oversized bearing that fits in some USDM exhausts but not all. I guess you have to check with your local Chief Auto Parts for compatibility
