pounds makes the difference?
guys do you know for about how many pounds is the oem accord hood heavier than carbon fiber?
if you know please be kind just to type a few numbers, or if not what would you recommend

not sure on the exact numbers, but i have heard some carbon fiber hoods are like a third lighter than oem--give or take a few

i wish sumone would do a comparison.... i would if i only had an oem hood... but i'll telu this, even compared to fiberglass the factory hood feels at least 3x heavier. and i've heard VIS hoods weighing in at 15 pounds.

For 6th Gen. Coupe Trunks, OEM = ~24lbs and C/F = ~12lbs

Where did you get that info from? A 69 Chevelle?!?! All Honda hoods at the most weigh about 40-45 lbs.

yeah, no ****. If hoods weighed 70-80 lbs, I'd just leave mine off. You're looking at probably 35 lbs.

http://www.ardperoformance.com is selling the black widow hoods for about $420 shipped to my house but my accord is a 97 and on the ad it says that will fit 94-95 would still fit my accord. I think it should! what do you think?
