Default Would the Accord front end work as a JDM conversion alternative???

Just an question some people have asked before...anyone know?
I looked hard at an Accord this weekend and tried to see why it wouldn't fit. I did notice where the fender meets the A pillar is a little longer on the Accord, but I'm sure that could be cut down a bit. Is the Accord just too "wide" to even suggest a fit?
TIA

I went to an import show earlier this year and saw Prelude fronts on Civics and other kind of swaps. I think a professional body shop that deals with the import show crowd can do anything you want ! (I even saw a Lexus GS300/SC300 front on a Civic !!)

But, if you are asking for direct bolt on like JDM ITR fronts to USDM ITR fronts then I doubt it.

I thought about this a bunch too...

But then you realize that the biggest $ will be in labor here, so why not go oem jdm?

I was contemplating s-15 silvia headlights on the stock front end, but with labor I might as well go for jdm front! Unless you just want something unique.....

I wouldn't even bother. It's a hassle and it looks ugly.

.....we're talking about the headlights:

some of us aren't fans of the round-eye's...

That's why he's talking about the accord - they look very similar to the jdm-front headlights and more agressive (imho).

Yea, I plan on going with the OEM anyway, just thought I'd ask cuz I'm sure many see the resemblance of the two, and these days, you find all kinds of interesting comversions on the net.

.....actually I think a neat conversion would be an integra rear on a '99-'00 civic si.

Also, the usdm front on an eg or ek...

And of course I've seen an s15 silvia front on a dc2.....
