how many miles....
all depends on the condition of the motor. 70K on a Honda motor is still youthful. Do a compression test and make sure your ignition is up to par as well as your fuel system. I'd be 'noid about boosting any motor with over 140-150K but its been done numerous times.
im gonna boost on a stock bottom end with 140,xxx miles in a few months. its compression tested between 200 &210, so its healthy and been regularly maintained. if you keep it reasonable with the boost levels it should okay to turbo a higher mileage honda...
^^^ what they said, as long as your compression numbers are good...boost away. But make sure you tune the car right, that'll be a key part of keeping it from going ka-boom!
my car has 191k
i guess thats outta the question...im workin on getting a d16z6 for 400 with shaved head but idk i havent seen the guy online in a while he might of sold it already. and idk i scraped some of that **** out from under the valve cover cuz it was just to bad....and when i go to start it up it has a loud sqealling noise..idk if its a belt or what, but other then that its running pretty good for 191k.
oh and i got a oil leak which is coming from around the oil pan does anyone know what i can do to fix that?
its not going to last to much longer with oil leak and all that dryed up caked up oil all inside of it

i dont know at first it was just a tiny leak in one spot of the oil pan but now its all the way around it and its around the gasket area but the oil pan looks dented in a little so idk if that may have pusehd it up and messed the gasket up ro what
i would be hesitant about putting a kit on that motor like you were saying. Def. look into finding a lower mileage z6 or motor of your choice. Abou the oil leak i would look at the oil pan a little better since it is dented...then check the gasket. but it your doin a swap i wouldnt worry about it.
