Default Toothpicks...

So I just thought I'd post up some pics after another wasted day at the track. We stepped up to 26's last weeked and the we broke our intermediate shaft first run. So we ordered a prodrive intermediate shaft, but in the meantime we put antoher stock unit in and went to the track to see if it was just a coincidence. So we got a really good burnout and then went to launch and snap... the same thing first run again. I've never seen these things snapping like this ...oh well...anyone else run into this problem?

Try to pre load the tranny and shafts a bit don't shock the hell out of them!! If you keep having that problem you may need Mark Williams but $$$$$$$ it will fix the problem.

try preloading it will definitly decrease the amount of shock on your tranny and the axles

Pre loading is easy. Get your car staged, Then release the cutch to the point to wear the clutch is grabbing, but not moving the car yet, kinda like "slipping" the clutch.

oh, you just don't drop the clutch from 7000 is pretty much what your talking about. Bringing it to the contact point then releasing fast is all it is....i thought it was something i was missing.
