you are gonna get some flaming for that one... use the search... it's your friend... and besides there are differences in hp for different motors (vtec, non-vtec) so just saying accord motor doesnt say much since the newer ones put out a lot more power than the older ones... so search and be more specific

in the amount of time it takes for you to state these flames and search posts you could have just answered him...i mean, the archives aren't as good as they once were and the search isn't as complete as you'd expect...

anyways, here's a link to a database with all the f and h series motors and their power output, as well as other info you might need:

F series...
http://www.accordinglydone.com...ies=F

and H series...
http://www.accordinglydone.com...ies=H

hope you find all the info you need...

AHAHAHA. I was going to say the same thing. Searching is great...but some people get excited and just want to make a post about their particular situation. Either post up useful info or just don't reply. It's pretty simple.

To the creator of this thread. The H22 is a more powerful motor than the F23....but you need to use the correct tranny to make use of that power. H22's make power in the upper RPM band so you will need to use the H22 tranny to do that.

Hope that helps.

Its ok ******, Andy D and Nick H are just angry because the search feature means that they cant reply to questions that could be easily answered by using it! Thus not being able to raise their post scores any higher than 2400 and 1700. Wow thats alot of posts.

yes, i do have a comment for everyone...especially you...

and also, i have been a member of this site for about 3 years now and have tried to answer questions to the best of my ability...in being an active member of this site, it is not unusual to see such post numbers...i have been modifying accords for more than three years now and i believe that in such an amount of time, you really start to get to know the car, inside an out....

....so in turn, if you don't mind, i will try and help out those who have reasonable questions with information that they can actually use...thanks fellas, and have a wonderful day
