I know a guy that bought a jdm d15b (I think) for $800 with the ecu and tranny... I didn't hear any good stuff about the web site but he said that they didn't give him any trouble. Also his motor is a 1.5 sohc vtec that (he said) puts out 130 hp over the usdm D16z6 motor that puts out 126 hp. Plus his gears are shorter. Getting to my question was this a good buy and is Osaka OK to buy motors from, THANKS

if you go to hmotorsonline.com they have that same setup for cheaper then that. and the motor puts down 130hp to the crank and the gears are the same as the sohc vtec 1.6 in the usa as far as everyone can figure. But there is an option of getting LSD tranny.

i wouldn't buy from osaka, but **** i wouldn't by a motor offline anyways. i wana inspect that biotch befor i pay the money

no no no- bad things from there... just telling you what i heard

 

basicly what i get from their service is this: they only have a couple sets of motors...like they would have 2 h22s, 2 b18s...ect, and they sell them for "good" deals...so you think..but once you get your motor or so dissapointed you send it back..they charge you the restock fee and thats how they make thier money...off the restock fee not the motors themselves...

just my theory from what ive heard over the past couple years...

kinda genius once you think about it...
