Rota vs. Stock SI in terms of weight????
I know this has been somewhat covered before but I searched and couldn't find it all. I know the said weight of a 15" Slipstream is 11-12 pounds but couldn't remember what the stock SI wheels weigh in at. Does anyone know for sure and will it make much of a differance performance wise if I was to go with the lighter Rota on my SI instead of the stockers? Thanks.
Oh, and if anyone has pics of Rota's (preferably Slipstreams) on EBP SI's I would love to see the pics. I am having a hard time deciding if I want to get different wheels and if I do what color I want.
Thanks in advance.

A stock Si wheel is right around 15-16 lbs. You'll take off about 4 lbs per corner in unsprung weight, but the reduction of rotational mass will help most of all.

i dont think it will make a difference in performance. I have 16" rims on my si and it actually seems faster with the 16"s for some reason. but here is a pic of my car with my brothers slips on it. i actually have rota grids on it now...for sale if the offer is good.

Thanks for the input everyone. I'm really torn about what I want to do wheel wise. I see that the weight difference isn't a big deal but the other thing that made me want to get new wheels is that the SI's are only 6" and I think it looks funny. Wanted to go Rota cause I can get 7" and it looks a little better and probably handles better.
