i went to a test station to get my swap pre-test before i take it to the Ref. its a usdm 95 b18c1 in a 92 cx. Im using a 00' si header, and every thing is stock. here are the numbers
RPM %CO2 %o2 HC(ppm) CO(%) NO(ppm)
test meas meas meas max ave meas max ave meas max ave meas
15mph 1980 14.2 0.7 121 31 119 0.76 0.10 0.30 807 237 668 P
25mph 2326 14.3 0.4 96 20 68 0.65 0.09 0.34 746 199 145 P
I also passed all the visual inspection but the guy was looking for the EGR, i dont gsr have it do they?
Now if you look at my HC, i barely passed it, how can i drop those numbers. My ignition timing is set at 16 BTDC(stock) should i drop it to 14 degrees?
By the way i did not add any additives you buy from automotive stores which is suppose to make your car pass easier. Do those things really work. now time to schedule a appointment at ref.
anyone have the # to a state ref, thanks again and wish me luck!
