running low 13s...
i have a 2003 rsx..current mods are AEM CAI and jackson racing race header..
I was wondering how much power to the wheels would ineed to run low 13s..i think the type S weighs about 2800 pounds..imnot sure....
im looking into building the A2 with a K24 block or stroking my current motor..so how much power should be my goal to hit low 13s on street tires...

The RSX is very easy to get power out of. Getting 250whp out of Type-S engine is not unheard of. You are off to a really good start with the mods you have. A friend of mine has a Type-S with those same mods along with every other bolt on made for that car. He has AEM pulleys, AEM fuel rail, AEM intake, JR header, GReddy exhaust, test pipe, and Hondata tuned. He made 210 at the wheels or something close to that. The guy that dynoed before him had the same mods and same car except he had a DC header and made like 6whp less, lol. Just get those mods and the Toda cam upgrade and you will hit low 13s if you can get traction with street tires and good driving. I would suggest Nitto NT 555s. BTW, I think that questions like this aren't allowed in this forum. I figured I would answer your question anyway, cuz I'm bored.
thanks for the response...i thought you werent allowed to ask how much power am i going to make with certain mods..i was asking how power will it take to get a 2800 pound car in the 13s...

This is a very good site to answer questions like that. It is one of the most accurate 1/4 mile ET calculators I have seen. It's not 100% (as most gimmics like this aren't), but it gets damn close when using it to guess 1/4 mile times.
