I think I am missing something here. You talk about a ls motor, then go on to talk about a Mini-Me. The Mini-Me uses the head or complete engine (depending on who your talking too) of a D16Z6 or D16Y8. Where as, the ls is a totally different engine.

he was just saying that the motor has low miles and didn't want to take it out cuz it's still in good shape....i would just throw the ls motor in there and save the d16a if your ls goes bad

hmm, great deal, but are u sure about the mileage? the white number on the right is a 1/10th of a mile. but if it's really 37,000, then that's good.

i am confused about what u said. do u have the crx and then an integra LS motor separately? please clarify.

about the minime. it refers ONLY to putting a SOHC VTEC head from a d16z6 or d16y8 engine on a non-vtec 1.5 or 1.6 CRX block. the name comes from comparison to the popular LS/VTEC swap, also known as Dr. Evil. and therefore the mini-me gets its name from being a sort of a smaller version of that. well, u get the point.

u can use the stock Si ecu and get either Field V-SFC or for a little more money a much better Apexi V-AFC to control the vtec and fuel maps. u can also get a ZDyne ECU for b16 swap, it'll work just as well for the mini-me.

Do a basic mini-me set-up, then start saving money!Build the ls motor up on the side, and install it down the road
That way, your car is faster now, and you have another motor for later!

Now that may not be possible, but if it is, it would be cool.

If you have 37,000 miles on your car, ******* sell that car for the $6000+ it's worth and get an '88 Hf with no engine. Then build up the ls engine, do some suspension/brake work, and still have money left over to send a thank you card to the old lady you stole the car from.

**** the mini-me, and that's coming from experience. No use getting involved in that swap if you're gonna swap something else in the future.

To answer your original question, the car will run best with a 4g Si ECU (the stock one) reprogrammed by ZDYNE for the Z6 swap. Again, experience. I've heard good things about the Fields, but besides that, don't use the Z6 ECU or any other ghetto rigged way. Do it right.
