Default $750 for a LS??

I called a guy for a motor, he told me he would sell me his LS motor with 100k miles on for $750 w/o tranny...is this a good buy or no....

its good but the milege is kind of high though...
ive seen ls swaps go for 1400-2200...

well the motor is half way used dependign how it was used previously...maybe 500 would be a better offer ... try to negotiate

got mine for $1200 with everything, so $750 plus $500+- for a tranny seems ok....i'd get him down to $600 though

get him down to 5-600, spend another 1000 on a Type R or B16 tranny and you'll be pleased

i got my motor for $400 . wit 100k and for 300 more dollars he throw the whole clip

800 for mine complete swap with 65k miles on mine. take the block rebuild it completely for turbo

dame....i got my LS swap with install for 2200.

but then again it was a 98 LS motor with 14k on it

You can get a LS longblock for that price without about half the mileage... Also goodluck finding an Ls tranny... And your car would be alot faster if you got a b16 tranny if your doing NA, get LS for Turbo.
