hey 1greyteg, if you get a jdm nose, i WILL kick your ***....after all my labor, you are going to just get another nose? jeesh.....anyway, what about going stealth? the jdm front will only reverse what you just did. just my 2 cents
If I do it and that is a BIG IF! "but it's growing on me." It would be in the spring/summer of 02. I'm still getting used to and enjoying my New look. Trust me I know I owe ya. I think it looks really good now, but, I was just thinking, We can spend at least as much on the engine build up or I could do the front end conversion, shave the door handles and shave the rear bumper and plug the emblem holes.
The sleeper look is cool and all but C'mon Rodney, picture my R now with the JDM front end and still wingless and badgeless and even cleaner, Heh Heh Heh... She's in the shop now getting that dent removed, do ya think Will would do the conversion? I know what to look for with quotes now but, I want a flawless job. I have confidence in him and his work.
Now think of it all done with the Te-37's custom painted Gunmetal? Heh Heh Heh...

Thanks All,
nice jobs on all of your rides, Now for a few questions:
1. are you noticed alot more with the conversion NOW? than with just your regular ITR?
2. is there any weight difference between the 2 OEM front ends? NOT MUGEN or SPOON or C-Westin products?
3. how long did it take to do from start to finish?
I've seen a couple of conversions in person and the PY seems to be the most difficult to color match:
4. are all of you fully satisfied with the color matching done to your cars?
5. how many of you did the work yourselves?
6. if you don't mind posting How much did you all pay for a complete paint and install?
7. please if you could post an approximate location of your cars, STATE or large CITY only please, "lets be safe here."
8. what kind of weight difference is there between the Mugen front end and or the CF hoods and or Spoon's CF lip?
9. where did all of you guys order your kits from?
10. and last at least for now, how long has it been since you guys did your conversions and what prompted you to do them?
Thanks again guys, I mean it Thanks ALOT!

thanx mugen r and ben! so ben did you ever get the cover? would go nice with all the jdm stuff you already have in your car.
Anton,
DON'T DO IT!
It looks cute on CW ITRs but black and yellow cars are better left USDM. Plus it is a shitload of money that you could spend making your car very very fast. I know if I had 3 grand I wouldnt be buying a new bumper, hood, and HIDS.
I know this might not be what you wanted people to post, but be careful of getting JDM fever! It's not necessarily better.
