200 whp B16?
Is it even possible on pump gas (92 octane)? And, if so, how would you go about making it? The broader the powerband, the better, of course. I'm trying to figure out whether I actually want to embark on a B16a-into-a-CX project. A friend of mine just bought a CRX, and is determined that his car is gonna be "show and go." Eww.
this is probably the most common topic in the NA forum right now, if you would take the time to browse around you would see that Omni has done a buildup on it, done it retaining a STOCK block, and the mods were listed. SO search.
And of course it's possible, and if you don't have to keep it a 1.6 liter engine than 230whp+ is possible on a B16 w/ 92 octane....

Yeah, I just read that. I'm really interested in different ideas about how to get there... I've heard everything from strokers to high-compression set-up revving to 10K. I have a pretty flexible budget, so the plan is to buy a full swap and another long-block. When all is said in done, I hope to swap the built long-block into the hatch, have it tuned (or, tune it myself. Heh), and be good to go.
