Default question about honda accords

I have a 95 honda accord lx. It just rolled over 106,000 miles. Do these cars last a long time after 100,000? I get the oil changed every 3k and i take care if it. Just wondering.

thanks

Yes, I have a 90 accord and I have 172K still is alive and kicking (hard I might add ) But as long as you maintain them and keep up on everything from t-belts to brakes to proper tire inflation they will run forever. Welcome to H-T

Got 203,000k miles and still going strong. As long as you maintain it, it should run fine. Has a rebuilt tranny though, pretty much he only big thing besides maintainence.

my one brother's accord lasted till 175k, then he realized he was supposed to have changed the timing belt more than once (once at 80k) now he pimps a civic
my sister's accord had 90k on it when she found out that oil was neccessary, they put a new motor in it (new to her it came from a car w/125) she has by now put another 45 on that motor with no internal work done (besides basic maintence)

treat them right and they'll treat you right
