Default 98 GS-R normal operating temperature

I was wondering what the normal operating temp is supposed to be. I know when I am driving at night (40 degrees) at 80mph...my car is at a steady 195 degrees (with a Koyo radiator also)...when I am on street..it varies from 180-2??...is that normal? Oh...I know the temperature because I am running the Techtom CMX-100h from my OBDII dignostic port. Thanks....

Thats very strange that it says you running that warm. I never broke 180(this was on a B20/D15 with stock CRX rad) when it was below 50 deg.... let alone 200... you should get a gauge and see what the actuall temp is in the head....
