I sent him $270 for some JDM headlights on Jan. 2, 2004 and until now NOTHING! He had some vouches but stupid me I forgot his name on here so now I'm just totally F*CKED. I e-mailed him for some tracking # but no reply EVER. I tried on Jan 5th and just now, still no reply! AHHH I'm losing faith on Honda-tech!

well from the look of the email address..it seem that this guy is from the east bay (BAY AREA) CALi...and i though this email address seem fimilar cause i think i saw that name on a local classified website..not too sure..but i'll keep an eye out for you. good luck.

 

he's on ebay under that name but i cannot find out his ebay id but he's on there. WTF

So you're being scammed? Looks more like you've been scammed. Maybe you should do homework before buying.. When you say vouches, HOW MANY did he have?

 

like 4? this month I had to finish up some projects so I didn't look into vouches too much. EVERYTHING else came in fine but this was the only order that did not come through should've known after he didn't reply to e-mails on jan 5th... I should've reversed his paypal *** then

 

Sorry to hear that bro, yeah being scammed is the *****.. but 4 vouches does not cut it. Buying or selling gotta do your research and a seller has to have at least 10+ vouches and be on the good sellers list here on HT before anyone should consider sending money. next time make people ship COD even !!!

you said you forgot his HT username....try and remember any "key" words that might have been in the ad and keep searching the archives. i think if you can figure out his username, more members might remember and provide you some clues.

there's nothing worse than seeing your money lost to a thief in a transaction like this. personally, honda-tech has been good to me for the past 3 years in buying and selling parts, but luckily, i've only bumped into honest people. hope this 1 jackass doesnt ruin it for you here

reversed searched on ebay and found a seller who dealt with him and gettinghim to give me his paypal address. bless organized sellers who keep WHO they sold to and WHERE they shipped it to! PAYPAL VERIFIED ADDRESS TOO
