Default Wideband O2 Sensors?

Are wideband O2 sensors worth the money they cost...Do they help tune a daily driven street car (ex. high compression/ high lift B17), what benefit do they serve over a standard O2 sensor? AND are they worth the dough?

when tuning on a dyno, you have to have the wideband to read the a/f ratio

do u want the most potential out of ur motor??? thats the real question. some ppl pay huge money (thousands) for wideband O2 sensors. the new generation of widebands are well worth the money. most new widebands have been proven to be just as effective as their thousand dollar counterparts.

there is a wideband system offered that uses a VX wideband or a VW wideband. i think its the techedge system. someone asked what the difference was between the expensive widebands and the inexpensive ones..................about a thousand dollars, ha. really i dont know. most expensive widebands ppl use on dynos and for datalogging, but the most inexpensive widebands have that capability too if a lap top is used.
