Civic VX O2 sensor replacement

He is right. Thats the price you pay for having a z1, but the gas mileage pays off in the long run. You can always search for used parts to tide you over, but most likely you should just replace with new.

Re: Civic VX O2 sensor replacement
I would never replace a o2 with a used one. It may hold you over for a little bit if your tight on cash right now but from my experiences with newer cars with multiple o2's when one goes out you replace them all because as soon as you replace one the others will go out so you will just be doubling the work.
Just look at it this way the fuel economy you get will pay for that in no time. My z1 was getting 50 mpg 50/50 city/hwy with out trying. My Lex gets 100% 22 hwy and my wife's suv gets 15 mpg all hwy!!!
