how to keep factory wheel and tire diamter
i just order some 15in rims to take place of my factory 14in steelies. i beleive the tire on their now are 195/60/14, so will 205/50/15 give me the same diameter??
close enough, your stock tire diameter is 23.2'' with the 205/50/15's your tire diameter will be 23.07....minimal difference.
Generally when you go up in diameter (14 - 15'') you go up 10 in width (195 - 205 - 215 etc) and down 10 in series (ratio 60 - 50 - 40 etc)

Put both tire sizes into this calculator: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html And check the results
