hey guys...man my emissions system have been giving a lot of crap...i got a check engine light for p1457...i took it to acura...they changed my 2 way valve...a couple of months later the same check engine light came back on...so i took it back and they replaced the sensor/valve on the evap canister...after that the SAME code check engine light came back on...and so i took it back and they replaced my fuel tank...now the SAME damn code check engine light is still on...the last couple of times, they gave my car back and didnt know what was wrong with it...they said that they have to talk to their service manager about it...and it is taking a pretty damn long time...if anybody can help...pleasseeeee let me know...my email is vietthuqstyle@aol.com

Explain, what do you have done to the caR, if its not and R then ask in the right fourm.

Once we have an idea what done to your caR then and only then we might be able to figure out what is the trouble.

also answer, what kinda gas, where do you live and drive, and the type of driving you do.

 

I dont know if R's do this but many car manufacturers have FTP, (Fuel tank pressure sensors) something as small as a gas cap being loose could be the problem. I know on these freakin Jaguars it can detect down to one millimeter of leakage.
