I have a dx hatch and i want to rewire it to a si. i have a hf wire harness but it doesnt plug to one of the plugs. so if anyone knows how please help, or if u have a dx wire harness rewired let me know..

 

if you have a DX, you must use the DX harness and make the wiring changes on it - the harnesses are all different between the DX, HF and Si - they are not interchangeable

It can be done but believe me its a major PITA. If you have an undamaged harness the conversion is easier. I am trying to match up a SiR harness to my hosed up harness so I can repin it. Color codes don't match so you have to trace out each and every one to move it. And that is only the Engine harness.

At least its true for a DX to SiR, the connectors are compatible, but you still have a lot of changes on the Body side of the harness with wires that are not there.
