Rest ECU?
yes, i mean reset, but i've just fitted the preformance chips any bad effect if i reset it??
Coz someone told me if reset it, it also reset all the data been input to the aftermarket chips. then all the data will be as same as stock,is it true?

Yes, i did unplug those ECU connector b4 replace the chips but not from battery.
Re: (If you reset it or not you will end up with the same result after driving for a while).
Do u mean even i reset it, it w't make any difference? After i got the chips i found the low end torque is a bit better, but when VTEC kick in, seems slower than b4. The chips call SUPERCHIPS from UK.

When you unplugged it from the harness- you removed power from it- so it is cleared- Yes- if you reset it or not- you will eventually end up with the same result- but your WOT performance will NOT change with the ecu reset or not. Only closed loop operation is effected by the ecu's stored strategies that it has "learned" while being driven. When you reset the ecu -these strategies are reset and the ecu has to relearn them-
Once you chip an ECU...it is permanentaly chipped. That is what the chip is for. You didnt load any program in there. The chip stays in there...hence chipped. If you pull the ecu out....it is cleared.
