Got to drive an 04 TL 6-spd last night!!!
Me and a technician got to drive an 04TL 6-sod last night, Man that thing hauls *****! I can't believe how much torque steer is in that car...Even with the VSA turned on. No wonder the testers aren't to giddy about it....I can't decide if the Auto feels better...I think the car could use some stiffer springs though....
Anyway. tally-ho

Torque steer is increased with an LSD
....All I am saying is no wonder the magazines have written that 270HP is the beginning of the end in a FWD luxury sedan.

Put it this way i was handing everyone their ***
My car is still felt faster though and its all motor with 2 less cylinders

I was recently in the market for an RSX-S, and couldn't find the one/color I wanted. In the process of putting down a deposit, I test drove the 04 TL (6 speed), and the rest is history.
Greg - who loves his TL, and can't say enough good things about it

i've heard that remark many times as well.. once a car reaches a certain hp mark (270hp in this case) no matter how much technology (dbw, lsd, vsa, etc) still won't compensate the fundementals of a fwd car. good to hear good comments about the car!
i believe if honda does stick with high hp fwd sedans, ,there should be an option of real time 4wd, a much advvnaced one that can lock tq up to rears much like the new g35 awd. (thx to the attes also found in fx and the great r34)

We might see that in the 2005 RL, they have reported it isn't fwd...
were thinking all wheel drive

They're taking care of this with the A Spec. Bad thing is that it adds another $5K to the price tag.

I agree, and have contacted a fellow H-T member over at King MotorSports to see what is in the works. He said that Mugen will not be making any suspension upgrades for the TL, but will be coming out with an exhaust.
He suggested the A-Spec suspension, and has said that he can get it separately. I am waiting on a price, and will be all over it
