im running a pr3 ecu ona 1st gen b16aq
ok well making a long story short i was a moron with my freind cause u tried 2 hook up a heater in the car usuing the deck power source and an adaptor (argh i know its -19 here, gimme some slack) because my heater is geting fixed on sat

anyways we blew a fuse and to my astonishment nothing went dead, everything minus the deck power was working, ok well tonight i took my car out and i got a engine light code on a red light, which never, ever happens
now my vtec isnt working right now, thats a diff story but im use 2 seeing 2 long 2 short, code 22
anyways, i foudn it really odd i got the light so i checked the ecu while on the red light and i saw 2 long 2 short and .... pause.. 1 long

WHOA! so thats code 22 and code 10 right?

code 10 i have never ever got before, i have never gotten anything other then code 22

well code 10 (1long) is for the ta sensor..... intake air temprature sensor

ummm do u guys think maybe i blew the fuse 2 that sensor??, because i find it way way too weird for the ecu 2 throw me that code, if so where is the fuse and my most importent question is its ok to drive the car with the ta sensor not working???

argh im having so many probs with my car this damm week!

check all your fuses then reset the ecu then check to see if it throws them still if it doesnt good, if it does your fawked

 

why am i fawked??? can i drive the car with it throwing the code or not? i got a test @ school worth 25% in 2 hrs!

 

well did you try to start the car if you did and it runs then sure, but I suggest you do what I suggest first that way you wont have to drive with the check engine light in the first place

 

no no it doesnt throw the code like as soon as it goes, its thrown it twice, each time with about 10 mins of highway driving

what is the ta sensor do? im confused, can u gimme an explanation? what can happen if anything?

 

I think code 10 is Intake Air temp sensor if it throws that code i think your car will run rich not a 100% on that but Im pretty positive.
