Default ys1 into crx

The jdm ys1 transmission I bought for my b16 has a power steering speed sensor. Can I just pull it out and plug in the crx speedometer cable or what do I have to do? Also does it matter what gear is on the end of it?

Unless you want to wire in the speed sensor, just switch it with a cable driven one.

Umm? Are you sure you dont mean a JDM "Y1" cable tranny for your B16? Those are the ones with a ELECTRONIC speedo. Not the JDM "YS1".

If you have a JDM "YS1" it should already have a cable driven speedometer. You just need to add fluid and loop the speed sensitive steering hoses together.

you can just pop in the your old stock crx one but it isn't necasarry. I had the same speedo in my YS1 and I just pllugged up the wholes and it worked fine.
