will a 99 GSR axle back muffler fits in a EK hatch. Does it hangs, sticks out...etc..

 

from experience of a 98 gsr muffle on my old eg,it fit like stock an had a nice grown to it.Actually gave more perfomance then just the previous welded on muffler.

 

i see lots on EG but I was wondering if it fits on the EK..thanks btw

I am not sure, the 96-00 hatch's don't have too much room under them, I know my 99 si rear section didn't fit under my 96 hatch it would have had to been modified to hang really low, and I still think it was to wide to clear the spare tire well and the inside of the rear pass. tire without rubbing on it and it was to long to fit in between the lower rear control arm and the rear bumper. My friend has a 98 Integra 2dr. GS and we were going to try his rear section but the muffler was even longer and taller, so I don't think it would have worked ether. But you could make them fit, but I didn't want to really try because it was not worth it to me and I did not like the look of the stock mufflers hanging really low and stuff.

I got an ITR exhaust for my EK

I have sized it up but haven't put it on yet...the muffler is the same exact size however the tip is too long. Def gonna have to trim that. It'll fit though, just not sure on hangar modification.

Anyone else have any experience with a 94-01 Teg muffler on a 96-00 Civic hatch?

My Type R muffler is just screaming to go on there

 

An integra axelback will have to be modified to fit on a hatch EG or EK

The axel piping, hangers and tip have to be modified.

 

I have a 94 gsr muffler axleback on my 99 coupe. All I did was to extend the tip to reach the bumber, but on a hatch, its short like the teg, so it will fit.
