I live in So. California and I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any tuning shops that could do the MPFI/Mini-Me swap for me on my 91 civic dx. I don't have tools or extensive knowledge on car mechanics and have little time to learn how. What would be the rate of difficulty for the swap? Any input is greatly appreciated.

Then you are close. I might know some shops but they might charge to much why dont you do it yourself man its not that hard. You should just read up man there is a huge thread write up if you search in the archives. I really think they will charge you around $300+ for one. Plus who know how long will they take while you can do it in a week end once you gather all the info.

 

Im also curious, What kind of tools sets do you guys have or recommend?

I have a Craftsman tool set, medium sized maybe 100 pcs. or so. Plus some screwdrivers, pry bar, and some other useful tools. Can't beat the Craftsman guarantee.
