?'s to ask for buying a turbo B18C1 EM Si?
Yaay first post!
So, my friend is looking at buying a 99 FBP Si....exactly like the one I used to have before it got stolen
Anyway, I looked at the ad and its got roughly 50K miles total, 10K on a swapped B18C1, and roughly half or a little more of those miles were turbo'd w/ a T3. Stock internals, and i believe the guy said he boosts up to about 9psi. My EM Si only had i/h/e/ctr cams and a VAFC so i'm not too sure what to look for in this dude's setup, or what questions to ask, or what to look for since I only know a fairly limited amount about FI hondas. Dunno if he's got a LSD or FMIC, and the fact that it's missing the B16 makes me wonder if he either blew the previous motor, or if it was just stolen all together.
