If you are talking about the Throttle Position Sensor than No, I don't know if a way to get them seperate...Some of the guys with the older B-series engines were able to cut one of another throttle body and mount it to theirs and it may work...B/C damn they are not cheap if you have to purchase another throttle body.

Good Luck

Is your scan tool a Honda tool or generic OBD-2? It may be calling the "pedal" since thats what you have to press to get the throttle to move...I tried a searcjh in ISIS for a pedal position sensor and nothing came up for an RSX.

Acura/Honda diagnostic says if the voltage is above 12.6% or .6Volts or higher when fully opened it is an intermittent failure...and its ok....If not then the throttle body needs to be replaced.

All this with the key in the (II) position of the igniton switch.

Good Luck

yeah so thanks to inlinefour.com or UPS my sensor is totally trashed. i think it was liek that from inlinefour because the sensor is held on by completely differant screws than from factory, and the porblem is when the throttle plate opens and turns the peice inside the sensor it pushes out and has cracked open the cover over the sensor. it's reading at .51 volts just a little onder what's suppose to be there but the snesor is so screwed up that when you adjustes the position of it it just steadily reads the .52 volts and doesn't change.. So I'm suppose to be getting a new sensor from a friend. but thanks again fro the help and looking it to it for me green bean.
