I know summit racing sells 3" horns kinda like that. You could buy that and a apc intake and some hose clamps.

Just looks like a velocity stack on a pipe.

I bought a horn from summit like Waffles described, and fitted a foam filter over it. Cost me less than $50 total.

RS Akimoto used to sell these.

I used to run that intake with a OEM ITR intake arm or a PVC pipe.

I got mine from Joe at :
http://www.prototyperacing.com/

Joe is the one who supplied Shawn Church with his "magic" intake. If Shawn had not hooked that thing up on the dyno, I would not have bought one. After seeing the thing perform on two different intake manifold/throttle body setups. I was sold.

How much was the prototype racing piece? Do you run a filter on it because prototype's site it look like they use it on the lotus w/ a filter.

I think I paid $75, but don't quote me.I only used it once at the track. No filter. Joe says that the K&N # RF-1043 fits perfectly.

would adding a filter to it defeat the purpose of running a stack?

I've only seen those on the sport compact dragsters and thought you couldn't put one on a regular car but looks like I'm wrong now. Thats cool but I'd put a filter on it so it doesnt suck in things that are not needed in the engine.

I put my Prototype racing intake on my ITR just for fun. It is much louder than the AEM CAI when VTEC kicks in. And it is running leaner, just a tad slower-it needs tuning, more fuel.

You could use some screen our wrap some panty hose over the end to keep out some of the dirt.
