get codes from ecu..
for a CRX, go to where the ecu is (passenger footwell area), take a look at the ecu. There's a small round window on the topside, you should see a red light blinking in that window. Take note of the blinks and this should help you figure out what code(s) your ecu is throwing.
Since your car is converted to OBDI, hopefully there is a wire coming out of the OBDI point D4 (this is the way I always wire it when doing nonOBD-OBDI conversions)... If there is then it's really simple... Just ground this wire to activate your CEL... If not then you can probably either install an OBDI pin (if you have one) or just jam a wire into the same point (D4) and run the other end to ground...
