AC Compressor not working
Could you perhaps give us any symptoms? Does the compressor clutch itself on when you turn it on with the HVAC controls? Does it kick on and off repetitively? Does it not "click" on at all?
If the system pressure drops below a specific amount, the system will not activate to prevent compressor damage. There is a pressure sensor near the driver's side headlight that controls it. If you jump across it and the compressor starts up, the system is low. You can try a recharge kit, but it leaked out somewhere so you may want to have that checked out. If the leak is slow enough, just recharge it when it stops working, your choice.

The clutch in the system works electrically, that is probably what he meant. To see if it's just the system pressure being too low, take the connector off the sensor and connect a jumper wire between the terminals of the connector. If it's the system pressure, the compressor will now engage. Don't run it for very long since there is very little refrigerant in the system. If it engages, charge the system back up. If it does not engage, there are a bunch more tests that have to be tried.
I did jump the connecter but the compressor did not engage . Some guy told me it's the compressor coil . Can this be true ? And how do I fix it or does it need to be replaced? Thanks.
