Who's got a 4:7 fd on b16 tranny
It won't put undue stress on the motor unless you, the driver, put undue stress on the motor. Your gas milage will suffer and you'll probably go through oil a bit quicker. Around town driving is fine, but highway driving is a bit louder than normal. The difference isn't as noticable to the driver as you might think it is, but it will show up on your lap times/ET's assuming you drive it properly.

you'll be close to 5K rpm if you stick with the B16A 5th gear.
Using a GSR 5th gear is a good option.
and you will 'feel' a difference when you change over from a 4.40fd to a 4.7fd, especially with a lightened flywheel.
Some people just have insensitive asses when it comes to 'feeling' performance gains
