Default 93 ex electrical problem

When I use my turn signals, my tach and speedo needle go nuts! Then if use my

brakes, and turn signals, the radio cuts out and the tach and speedo go out!

What do you guys think?

never heard of it before, but it just sounds like you have a short somewhere in your electrical system. Have you or anybody been messing around under the dash or do you have a stereo system in your car?

What do the needles do specifically?

yeah, i was under the dash 2 weeks ago hooking up the switch for my NOS, but it was cool for 2weeks. I have a system also but I've had it for over 2 years, and no problems. I was think it was from the rain yesterday.... not sure

The needles jump around or just go to the bottom. and its only the stuff with lights, the motor run and idles fine.

I would go through and check your connections for the nos. Some of them might have come loose and water could be getting in somewhere.

Did you put a ground anywhere wierd or did you splice into anything under the dash?

the only time i've expirened any problems like you describe on y 91 lx...was when the battery was almost completely dead, and the alternator wasnt charging (pully slipping)... they'd jump or bounce or just flat out drop to zero...

Sounds like that is a good explanation too. Might wanna check that out before you go ripping your under-dash apart.
