BORING out a jg manifold for a 70mm throttle body
how is the easiest and simplest way to bore a jgmanifold to retain a 70mm throttle body i need to do this if you have a right up please post it im need to get mine done asap thanks
Match the tb gasket to the tb, and then take a black marker and trace the line on the im. Tape the im inlet closed so that no shavings get inside the motor (assuming you're going to do it while on the car), and then port until you're matched. I did this before, and it worked out ok. Just make sure that NO shavings get into the motor.
Exactly what 92B16aTurbo said, you're manifolds not on the car correct? (If it is take it off to do this)... We do this the same way to both the TB port and each runner (if you're running a ported head)... As for the actual tool, we just use a pneumatic die grinder which works just fine and remember to take your time... Good Luck
i understand how to measure it but how do you get a electric grinder with a flat wheel in that small hole what exactly do you use to do it neatly and fastest way to do it
What do you mean by flat wheel? Like a cut off disk? If so that's not what I would use... We use a little diamond tipped cutting bit that grinds through aluminum pretty quick... There's not really any faster way that I know of doing it...
