Default Modified DC or Greddy Headers

I've heard of some people modifying their headers to make more power...

How true is this, does anybody here own one, what is it that is modified on it, and what was the increase in power if any?

port match the exhaust ports to your head. that's what i did. that's about all you can do.

so you are saying that there not already port matched
from the factory? couldn't i get an smsp header for an h22
and port match it to my h23 head if this was the case?

i'm pretty positive that the DC headers are not port matched. they are probably pretty close, but i smoothed out the edges and enlarged the opening for better flow.

as for the H22/H23 header, i'm not sure. i assume since DC makes different models for the different engines that it won't work, but again, i don't know.
it was mostly a cleaning up of the inlet ports and ensuring there were no burrs throughout interior the length of the header piping.

Also you can cut the dcs small collector and add a 2.5 collector.

Around how much does it cost to do this and how much would the gains be?

but unless he's running a big cat and big piping cat-back to match his collector, it's kind of pointless, no? i only did it because i got my DC for $100. easy mod, almost a DIY.
