Hello and thanks for looking.
I'm driving a 6th gen H22 accord, and my problem is that the car feels like it's running out of power when it stands still. Once the car is moving, everything is ok, but when the car stands still, either parked or waiting by a light, the car struggles to stay running. Unless that I touch the gas and raise the rpm to 900rpm+, the headlights and the dashboard become dimmer. The struggling to stay running, is not too obvious when the car is warmed up, but once I turn the AC, step on the brakes, defrost, heat, roll down the windows, turn on the headlights, and highbeams, or use the auto-lock...I notice that there isn't enough power, and the rpm drops.
Since the power loss started to occur after my engine swap, there could be many factors involved.
One factor could be because I relocated the battery to the trunk, and the ground is not good enough (perhaps), I also have a 8lb fidanza flywheel (and I have heard that light flywheels could have these effects), and my latest theory is that my alternator is going bad...partially because I have started to hear a ticking noise from the front left, while driving.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.
Yeah, I'm gonna check it. The alternator has over 115K miles, so it could be the cause of the problem. Now does an old alternator make a ticking noise?
Thanks.
