RSX-S A-Spec?
Stopped by today to take some pics.
Wheels, ITR spoiler, tires, strut tie bars, badge. Thats pretty much it for $5,300. The vehicle info is changed if you get the package so anyone who looks up the VIN will know it's an A-Spec.

Thats one expensive RSX, but I'd take it.

I don't understand the issue. Everyone who has bought an RSX, then purchased a DC5R bodykit, 17" wheels, coilovers, etc, has probably spent about as much as the A-Spec package costs... yeah, it's a lot for an RSX, but if you have a modified car and add up how much you've spent on it, you could probably have bought something in a higher class to start with.

I cannot BELIEVE they price that at 30k. The RSX is a great car, but obviously can't compete in that price bracket.
The only way it could would be an R variant.

<Pulp Fiction>Well allow me to retort...</Pulp Fiction>
Most people don't buy all of their performance parts at the same time, much less at the time of purchase. If they could, they'd probably buy a better car. I know I'd damned well buy an Evo or STi if I was gonna end up spending $30K for a RSX Assinine-Spec.
"But you get the warranty," you say. "Hogwash," I say. When's the last time someone's warranty was voided because of a body kit? How about some springs or shocks or wheels? I've never even heard of that happening. If the kit included cams and pistons or something else that significantly affects the mechanical functioning of the car I'd want the warranty but this car does not.
Then there's the most insulting thing about A-Spec, the fact that we got the DC2R for only $2K more than the GS-R. Hmm, now we're paying 250% more for less than we got before? Yeah, that's dumb. And don't give me any bs about how the DC5R would cost at least that much. The DC5R is cheaper to make relative to the regular model than the DC2R was. No chassis reinforcing and no expensive hand port polishing.
So tell me why anyone is supposed to buy this RSX A-Spec? The badge? Because they want to get as close as possible to the DC5R experience? Lack of elementary math skills? Ignorance of Honda's offerings in other markets or in the past? Do tell.

So not worth it. You can get better parts for 1/2 that price on your own. It looks great but man is that price outragous. The RSX should be moved to the Honda lineup instead of Acura.. it doesn't even get lot of the factory options like all the other Acura cars (HID for example). End up paying an axtra couple grand for the Acura name and "luxury" title.
