when buying headers, the more money you spend the more power you get

This is where "you get what you pay for" type of deal comes in.. If you really want to look for the best power gains from a header, then smsp, hy tech, apexi, just to name a few. Look for those used. They are at awesome prices and you know that when you put them on you'll definately feel the difference.

As a general rule of thumb: All products from SSAutoChrome suck. They are poorly made and will probably hurt you more than help you. Definately a "get what you pay for" situation. Do a search and look at all the horror stories caused by their turbo manifolds.

i bet the the ss auto chrome 4-1 with 2.5 collector will make more power than a greddy header or a dc header with the 2" collectors

cheap imatation headers arnt good quality i guess thats waht im sayin. Cheap headers dont ahve as good air flow as race headers or any good qualitly headers like TODA or Comptech. im not saying 1000% sure that the more money you spend the more power, but generaly speaking it is when it comes to headers

please dont buy a generic header off ebay! Save yourself the headache and trouble of spending more money later on another one.

Those are not real JUN headers, the guy is a flat-out liar.

http://www.inlinefour.com/jun421exman.html

Those are the real ones. Almost $1000.

(note how there is a JUN plaque on the primaries)

Dude, just spend the little extra and get a proven header such as the Comptech 4-2-1.

Ghetto mods are worse than no mods at all.

SSAutochrome **** sucks! I bought a wastegate from them that was the worst fit and quality I have ever seen! I paid $170 for it and ended up smashing it and lighting it on fire!

Yes, SSAutoChrome products have quite a reputation for inferior quality. Their headers and manifolds have chronic cracking problems.

Well if those 3 headers are what you are looking at I'd probably only but the first or last one, if those were my only choices. The second one will probably show a loss of power when installed on your car. I have been waiting for some-one to order that JUN knockoff so we can get some measurments on it. Obviously it is not stepped, it doesn't have any anti-reversion chambers, the primaries are paired 1-2 and 3-4, the welds look like *** and it comes w/a flex pipe. Use some common sense hear. Just look for someone selling a SS DC or comptech if you plan on being cheap. Just like everyone else in the thread said, you get what you pay for.

Yeah they include the flex pipe because they know it won't fit well.
