Default s2k RPM

i got a new 2004 S2000. and what RPM is my car suppose to be when idiling?mine is at 1,000 RPM and i dont think thats right.

it means anywhere between 850-950 rpm

it will raise a hair, 100rpm's or so with radio,heater,lights on.

What do you expect it to be idling at? 10,000 RPM

suppose to idle rougher...depends on what stage........

remember that when you first start the car and it's cold it will idle higher to warm up quicker

exactly.

do you mean what does the car idle when the car is WARM? or when the car is first started (cold start)

10k idle... ahahha F1 cars dont' even idle that high! they 'only' idle at 4k
